1. The service

KuKuApply is software designed to help you prepare and complete application forms. Depending on the application and features available, it may help you:

• extract possible details from documents you choose to upload;
• reuse details that you have reviewed and confirmed;
• fill confirmed details into form fields at your direction;
• explain form wording and help organise draft answers; and
• identify information that appears missing, inconsistent or uncertain.

Features, supported forms and availability may change as the Service develops.

2. Software assistance, not professional advice

KuKuApply is not a law firm, immigration adviser, educational adviser, government body or official application service. The Service provides software assistance and general information only. It does not provide legal advice, determine your eligibility, recommend a legal strategy or make decisions for an authority or institution.

If you need advice about your circumstances, eligibility, legal rights or the consequences of an answer, consult an appropriately qualified professional or the relevant official authority.

3. Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for your application. You agree to:

• provide information that is complete, accurate, current and lawfully obtained;
• review every extracted, drafted, suggested or filled answer before relying on it;
• check the official instructions, eligibility rules, deadlines, fees and document requirements;
• make any required declarations yourself; and
• submit the application through the relevant official service yourself.

You must not treat a KuKuApply check as confirmation that an application is complete, legally sufficient or likely to succeed.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account or saved information has been accessed without permission.

5. Documents and information you provide

You keep ownership of the documents, text and other information you provide. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, respond to your requests and comply with law.

You confirm that you have the right to provide that content and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law. Our Privacy Policy explains the product’s document-processing and storage choices.

6. Official forms and third-party services

The Service may operate beside, link to or depend on websites and services controlled by governments, universities and other third parties. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, decisions, availability, security or changes.

You must follow the official service’s own terms and instructions. If KuKuApply and an official source differ, check the official source and obtain qualified advice where appropriate.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• provide false information, impersonate someone or assist fraud or deception;
• upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to use;
• interfere with, probe or bypass the Service’s security or access controls;
• use automated means to scrape, overload or misuse the Service; or
• copy, resell, reverse engineer or exploit the Service except where applicable law permits it.

8. Our intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, branding and original content. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these terms. No other rights are transferred to you.

9. Availability and changes

We use reasonable care in providing the Service, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every form or third-party website. We may maintain, update, add or remove features. Where a material change adversely affects a paid service, we will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law.

10. Application outcomes

Decisions are made by the relevant government, university or other receiving organisation. KuKuApply does not guarantee approval, admission, processing time, an appointment, a particular decision or acceptance of any document or answer.

11. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by:

• information you supplied that was inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
• your failure to review an answer or follow official instructions;
• a decision, delay, outage or change made by an official authority or other third party; or
• events outside our reasonable control.

The Service is intended for personal use. If you use it for business purposes, we are not responsible for loss of profit, business, revenue, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or business opportunity, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Ending your use of KuKuApply

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, create a security or legal risk, or misuse the Service. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to address the issue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service, law or our business. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice where required. The effective date at the top shows when these terms last changed. Changes do not apply retrospectively unless the law permits and the terms clearly say so.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep any mandatory protections given to you by the law of your country or region.

The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Consumers living elsewhere may have the right to bring proceedings in their local courts under applicable law.
